Gunnar got second place! This was his first derby. He drew the shape of his car, Neil cut it for him and Gunnar did the rest. Well, until the weight part. Neil did the adding/subtracting of the weight. Gunnar also won "Most Colorful" due to his very unique, cool and colorful paint job.
In the end, he enjoyed himself and was happy with the results. The program records the times as well as the points for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. Gunnar's total elapsed time was only .006 seconds slower than the 1st place car. Pretty cool. The first place car come from a family of life long scouters.

I am so glad he had a good time! Now he will be motivated to build an even faster car next time!
