They chose the colors of Gonzaga -blue, red and gray. The gray is pretty light, but it looks nice. We ran out of gumption to paint the new computer room (old boys' room), so it's still got the Seahawks colors in it. We (Neil and Robert) scraped the popcorn ceiling off in there and put down some dark wood laminate flooring. It looks really nice. I don't have everything quite put away yet, but we're getting there, slowly. We just need to repaint though because it all doesn't really go together. It was a lot of work to paint the "teeth" on their walls, so I am just not ready to paint over it yet. Here's a little about that painting adventure. Pictures of new computer room not yet available. :)

A couple of weeks ago, we decided to switch the boys from the small room to the bigger room. Don't ask my why I didn't put the boys in the bigger room from the start - it's just not making any sense to me either. The boys old room is 10 ft by 10 ft - pretty small. It had two dressers, a crib and a ginormous, hand-built bunk bed. Their new room is 10 ft by 13 feet and the two dressers now fit inside the closet, so there's a lot of floor space for them. The weekend of "remodeling" went pretty well. We emptied the computer room and shoved stuff in my room and the boys bathroom - we're talking barley walking room only and no use of the bathroom. We (well, Neil and Robert) scraped the popcorn off the ceiling, tore out the carpet, retextured the ceiling, painted and voila. Well, it sounds easier than it really was - although it wasn't awful.
