Last Saturday, there was a bass fishing tournament around here and the final weigh in was at the Walmart in town. They advertised kids games/activities in the afternoon before the weigh in. So, we went. There was not that much for the kids to do - only three things really. One was a boat on hydraulics with a big screen where you could "drive" the boat. One was a big trout pond to catch and release a fish. Paden got one, but Gunnar couldn't keep one on. The poles aren't good and the hooks are made so the fish can be caught all day long without dying, so it's not really all that exciting for kids who have fished before and really want to catch a fish. There was also a surf board activity - kind of like a mechanical bull. The National Guard sponsored most of the activities and took these pictures and we went online to pick them up for free. The boys seemed to enjoy themselves.
