We drove up to the mountains to the tallest point around Wenatchee Valley. It's called Sugar Loaf. It's 5800 feet up and there's a fire watch house up there that is staffed by the forest service all summer. It's pretty cool. It's a nice mountain drive. We broke in our new truck after only having it two weeks (I think). We took a picnic lunch. The boys had a good time. Gunnar didn't want his picture taken, but here's what we could get. It was pretty smokey - there's three fires you can spot from up there.
